It has been 10 years since this little girl was put in my arms. It was a wonderful day. I am blessed everyday to have this girl in my life. She keeps me on my toes. She is so funny, sassy, trying, loving, bossy, smart and beautiful. I am so lucky to be chosen to be her mom.
It was such a sad day, Brian, Diane, Sammie and Jake moved to Nevada. Brian took a new position at his company and that meant a move to the Reno area. We will be so sad not to be able to see them that often. We will miss them soooo much. Sammie spent her last night at our house. It was good cousin time.
Lauren and I went to a local resort for the 3rd and 4th of July. The resort had a ton of things for the kids to do. They included cookie decorating, t-shirt decorating, watermelon eating contest and well as some other games. During the evening they had a movie to watch in the pool. On the 4th of July they had games including bull riding. Later that day we went to Don and Janine for more swimming and a cookout. It was a great 4th of July.
On our last day we we joined by some old friends. Hannah and Deb were traveling through Chicago and was able to spend the day with us. It was so fun to see them again. I miss them being in California and stopping to see them on our way to San Diego. It was fun to get them all together again.
Ella had a dance class in the morning and after the class we went to a park that had putt putt golf. I don't think we have golfers in our future but they did have fun. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and just enjoying being with friends.
