Halloween

Halloween was a fun full day. We started the morning with some great pictures of Lauren with a witch's hat. She was having so much fun just playing around.

I took a half day at work and went to Lauren's class Halloween party to help. It was fun to watch Lauren with all her friends. I love being able to watch her in these fun settings.

In the evening we went to a classmates house and joined their neighborhood for a party. There were a ton of people and it was so fun for Lauren to go trick or treating with her classmates. She had the best time. On the way home we stopped by Don and Janine's home to show them her costume and to get a few more treats.

We finally made it home where Lauren had to dump out all her candy and sort them all out. It was a great Halloween.

Spirit Week

This week was spirit week at Lauren's school. It was also Red Ribbon Week. The first day was to wear red. Tuesday was favorite sports team. Wednesday was backwards, inside out day. Thursday was crazy sock and crazy hair day and Friday was Aloha day.

Lauren had a great time this week. Everyday we would pick out what she would wear and she was excited to see how other's got into the spirit. One of her favorite days was crazy hair and sock day. We painted her hair blue and thought that was great.

The only day I took pictures was the last day in her Hawaii outfit. She was so excited.

Tonight we had Sammie and Jacob and Grant over to crave pumpkins. Grant usually comes up with great ideas but this year he wanted to play on the computer and the text his friends but he did one. The girls had a great time and all of them turned out so cute. We are now ready for Halloween.

Tonight we went to the pumpkin patch with Brian, Diane, Sammie and Jacob. It was a great night and the kids had a wonderful time doing all the activities. We didn't get to do everything but we did enough that by the end of the night we were ready to go home. Lauren had a great time walking with Jacob through the haystack maze. She was so good with him. She told me that as her favorite part of the night.
