We were invited to join one of Lauren's classmates for a fun Halloween night. The home we went to has a large Halloween party with many many neighborhood family joining the fun. After a great dinner the kids were ready to go. We went around the neighborhood and had a great time.

After leaving there we stopped by Janine and Don's house to show them Lauren's costume. It was a great evening. The weather was just wonderful and the kids had a great time.

Lauren was popcorn this year. I loved the costume and she looked so cute. Everyone thought she had a great costume. She is already thinking about what she wants to be next year.

Tonight Lauren and I joined some friends for the trip to the pumpkin patch. There is so much to do at this farm. They have rides, face painting, pony rides, hay rides, train rides, marshmallows to roast, mazes to go through and the so much more. The kids had a great time and we didn't even get to do everything.

Lauren and Jasmine made me laugh so much in the corn maze. They were both scared and thought were going to get lost. I kept telling just walk to the light but they were so concerned they wouldn't even turn around for a picture.

Everyone had a good time and all we so excited that tomorrow is Halloween!!

Lauren had two Halloween party today. The first she had her school party. I was able to help with the party and I was assigned to the craft table. We had the kids make spider hats. They also made a fruit salad, and played some games. I didn't get to take a lot of pictures because I was busy helping with the craft. I was able to sneak away for a few minutes to get a picture here or there.

Today we invited a few of Lauren's friends from school over for a pumpkin carving party. The girls carved pumpkins, decorated cookies and just had a fun time playing. Again, I was so busy helping with the pumpkins and cookies I was not able to get many pictures.

Lauren had a fun day and I enjoyed watching her have so much fun. I am so tired and I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!!

Today we were to meet some friends at a local ranch for some fall time fun. We got a call on our way to the farm that the other family was not going to be able to make it. Lauren and I decided to have some fun anyways. This was our first time to this place. They had a lot of fun activities including, horseshoes, roping, horseback riding, petting zoo, a maze and of course the hayride to the pumpkin patch.

It was a nice day and Lauren enjoyed the day. Her favorite part was the maze. She must have done the maze about 6 times. She kept trying different ways. The pumpkin patch was set up really nice with a nice display of pumpkins. It probably would have looked a bit more real if the huge boxes of pumpkins were not right next to the pumpkin patch area.

It was a fun day. We have another pumpkin patch trip planned for the weekend. It should be another fun day.

On our last day of our fall break vacation we went to Seaworld. Lauren and I had gone to Seaworld this summer in Orlando. What a difference the weather makes. This summer it was so hot and humid we only lasted a few hours before calling it a day and leaving to go swimming. This time the weather was cool and overcast. It make watching the shows much more enjoyable.

They have a new dolphin show at the Seaworld in San Diego. We had seen the old one so many times we were really looking forward to the new show. After we watched it, Lauren kept saying it was a rip off. It is mainly a people show and the dolphins were not a big part of the show. Lauren was so mad about that.

Seaworld had a special Halloween event. They had cookie decorating, special characters, special Halloween shows and of course trick or treating. We all had a great time. We left Seaworld and drove back to Arizona. We got home every late but it was a great fall break.
