Tonight was the annual Art Walk at Lauren's school. It is always a fun night to see the art projects the kids made during the year and some of their special class projects. This night also makes me sad. It reminds me that the school year is almost over. I can't believe that there is only 3 weeks left of school. This year went so fast. I also can't believe that Lauren will be in 3rd grade in the fall. That just does not seem right.

Egg Hunt

After returning home from church some of the kids went swimming and others just relaxed until lunch. After a wonderful lunch it was time for the annual egg hunt. Lauren was to find 20 yellow eggs. She had trouble with the last few but ended up finding them and enjoying the candy.

It was a wonderful Easter spend with family and friends and of course remembering the Christ Is Risen!!

HAPPY EASTER

We all met at Don and Janine's house before going to church. We took a bunch of pictures which I am sure bugged the kids after awhile. My camera was on the wrong setting so a bunch of my pictures did not turn out. I have to get the files from Janine or Brian but these will do until then.

It was a wonderful morning and the day was even more special when we went to church together. It was wonderful to sing songs and hear a message about our Risen Lord.

All done and time to get ready for church.

We began Easter morning with the basket ready for Lauren to unpack. She was thrilled with all the items she got but the best was the pillow pet she has wanted since Christmas. She was so happy. Lauren then has a small egg hunt in the house. We started this last year and it is a fun way to start the day.
