Again the day started with girls going to horse camp and the moms hanging out. We were able to get some great pictures of the girls as camp. The girls had fun just hanging out. We ended the day with some games. It was another fun day.
Lauren and the girls spent the morning at horse camp. Lauren thought that was great. She got to ride a huge horse named Dale. After camp, the girls played until we went into town for dinner. While the girls were at camp the moms got to read, talk and just relax. It was wonderful!!
Our first day in Michigan started with the girls going up to help feed the horses. Then the rest of the day was spent on the paddle boat, running around with the dogs, hanging out and of course ending the day with s'mores. This is summer in the midwest. Lauren loved it. She even caught a turtle!!
Our first full day in Illinois was spent getting the girls pictures taken and then we packed up the car for the drive to Michigan. We arrived at the horse farm and the there was a bouquet of cookies waiting. We were excited to see Eleanor and her family. We got settled into the beautiful cabin and then spent the evening hanging out.
We started our second summer vacation by flying to Chicago. It has been a few years since we spent time with Ella and Kim so it was fun to see both of them. We spent the evening with them and got ready to go to Michigan the next day
