Hiking Sabino Canyon

Lauren and I had a great Saturday in Tucson. We spent the morning in the pool and then went to Sabino Canyon. Lauren and I hiked 4 miles. Two up and two back. It was fun to spend the day with my beautiful little girl on a beautiful sunny day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Lauren and I spent St. Patrick's Day in Tucson, Arizona. We had a great time but didn't have any green food and green drink. However, Lauren did wear her cute St. Patrick's shirt, earrings and socks.

Vander Molen Visit

This weekend Steve was in town to play baseball with his college team. Lauren and I went down on Friday evening and were able to watch him play one of his games. Lauren and I then spent Saturday morning together before joining them for the afternoon and evening.

They all came up to Phoenix on Sunday afternoon for a wonderful family day. It was so good to see Cindy, Ron and Steve. We also got to spend sometime with Ron's parents also.

Sammie and Lauren

Brian and Diane, Jake and Sammie came over on Saturday night. Sammie then spent the night. We had to get a few pictures before church in the morning. Once we came home from church and had lunch we spent the rest of the day outside. The girls played with bubbles, the played hopscotch, they played with chalk and they just had a wonderful time together. It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Spring Break

Lauren's Spring Break from school was last week. It was really early this year and not many other of the school districts were the same week. Lauren had cheer and tumbling the first three days so I took a half day off from work on Thursday and all day Friday. We were able to have a couple days of fun. Thursday we went to Airtime for some jumping fun. Friday we went to the zoo and had a wonderful day in the beautiful weather.

Next month we have to go to California for a cheer competition, hopefully we will be able to go to Disneyland for a day or so. It will make up for the lack of a fun Spring Break.
