Art Walk

Thursday night was Cherokee's annual art walk.  I love this event but at the same time it makes me sad. It is always fun to see what the kids have done for the past year and this year I got to watch Lauren perform in the 4th grade band.  What a treat.  However, the evening is always bittersweet because it means the school year is almost over.  I can't believe I will have a 5th grader and it will be her last year at Cherokee.  I want time to slow down.

Disneyland

After the cheer competition we went up to Disneyland for a day in the park.  One of Cindy's friends gave us tickets so a free day in the park is always fun.  Lauren did a bunch of rides this time and did not want to visit the characters this time.  She is growing up so fast.

Cheer Nationals - San Diego

It was fun to end the cheer season in San Diego.  The weather was so nice and the kids had so much fun.  Lauren's team did great, however, the competition was hard and they ended up in the middle of the pack.  I was so proud of them.

Lauren has improved so much this year.  It makes me so proud to watch her do her back handspring that she didn't have at the beginning of the season.  It is so fun to watch her progress.

Can't wait to watch her next year.

Cheer Competition #7

This competition ended so much better then the last.  They came in 1st place and looked fantastic.  It was a great way to end the Arizona competition season.  Only one competition left, Nationals, in San Diego.
