Today was the annual FCC Chinese New Year celebration. It is always a fun time. They have games, arts and crafts, face painting, a balloon person, a cake walk and much more. They have a great lunch to top off the day. Lauren did it all. She really enjoys the face painting and she waited a long time for the balloon dog. (He always does an amazing job.) Lauren even won a cake in the cake walk.
It was a fun time but I know that Lauren is getting older and is not as excited about going. This year she would not wear one of her dresses and only agreed to wear the shirt because she got to wear jeans. I have a feeling that this might be one of our last years. But this year she still had fun.
