On our 5th day of vacation we got to Magic Kingdom right when it was opening. We were able to get on a bunch of rides with no wait. The first ride we all went on was Dumbo. When we were at Disneyland in April we learned that when you turn 7 years old you can ride the Dumbo ride by yourself. Since Lauren turned 7 years old a week before we left she was so excited to be able to ride the Dumbo ride by herself. It made me a bit sad but she had the biggest smile on her face during the whole ride.
Lauren even went on the Tea Cups again and loved them. For the past few times when we have went to Disneyland she would not go on them. She finally went on them again and told me she can't understand why she was afraid of them because she loves them.
She also went on a rollercoaster and thought it was great. It made me a bit scared but she thought it was so much fun.
After the rides and a little bit of time in Toontown we went to the princess lunch. It is in the castle and very fun and pretty. When we were packing for this trip I asked her about 10 times if she wanted to bring a princess dress. She told me no and that she was too old for princess. She told me that she didn't even want to take pictures with the princesses or even go to the lunch. Well, the morning we were getting ready to go to the princess lunch she asked if I had brought a princess dress because she wanted to wear one after all. All we had was a little crown but it was fine. Of course she also took pictures with all the princesses and loved the lunch too.
