It was Lauren's turn to be Student of the Week. That means that you have to make a poster about yourself and bring in something different each day. On Friday, I had to come in and read to the class.
When we were planning out the poster, we looked at one of Lauren's shirts that had a paint splatters on it and then peace signs and hearts and etc. We decided to use that shirt as our pattern. We first splattered paint all over the poster board. Then we cut out pictures and the shapes we needed. It was a fun project to do together. Lauren was so proud to bring it to school.

Your poster is beautiful Lauren. When you bring it home again, have Mommy take a picture of it close up so I can see the details. I remember doing Special Student of the Week posters with Steve, Jon, and Danny -- it was lots of fun!
