Lauren's cheer team gave a program at a local care center. They did a cute Christmas dance. It was so cute and a nice evening. After the program we had a great dinner and then Lauren and Elaine went Christmas shopping for my present. Lauren wanted so bad to tell me what she got me but so far she has been keeping the secret.
This afternoon Sammie and Jacob joined Lauren to make gingerbread houses. They all had fun but Jacob just loved it. He was so interested making sure all the candy was used and that the houses looked great. It was a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Tonight was the annual cookie bake off at Janine and Don's house. Lauren and I choose a peanut butter, pretzel snack. We gave it our best effort but only came home with best looking cookie. Elaine's team was the big winner with a very good sugar cookie. We will get them next year. 
Lauren and I went to a local outdoor mall area to enjoy the Christmas season. After going out to dinner, Lauren enjoyed the "snowfall". We then ended the evening with a movie. It was a great way for Lauren to start her Christmas school break!!
The church that Lauren and I attend always has the best Christmas party. They have everything and it is always a fun evening. This year we enjoyed crafts, games, a petting zoo, snow, cookie decorating, and so much more. It was a fun filled night.
Lauren and I joined Brian, Diane, Sammie and Jacob for Zoolights. It was crazy busy. I think the because it rained last Saturday every decided to wait a week and go tonight.
