Cheer Competition #3

Lauren had her 3rd cheer competition this weekend.  This was the first one of the new year and it was after a long winter break.  I was a concerned how they would do but as always they pulled it out.  There was a total of 6 youth 2 teams and they came in second.  They are doing so good this year.  It is fun to watch.

Haircut

Lauren has been bugging me to get her haircut for years.  I love her long hair and so I always resisted.  However, as Lauren is getting older I decided that if she really wants it cut I would let her.  She did it.  I think she looks beautiful but I do miss her long hair.

Mountain Climbing

Lauren and I have started mountain climbing on the weekend.  We have gone a few times and it is so fun to get some exercise and look at the beauty of Arizona.  It is always fun to spend time with just Lauren and I.

Happy New Year.  We spent the New Year with Brian and Sammie.  (Diane was home with a sick little boy.)  We had a nice dinner and then fireworks, silly string, and lots of fun and laughs.  It was a great way to welcome in 2013!!!

Holiday Times

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was a busy but nice day.  We started the day with Lauren opening her stocking when we first got up. We then headed over to Brian and Diane's for breakfast and of course Santa presents.  After a few hours at Brian and Diane's home we went home and relaxed for a few hours.  We then got dinner ready and Brian, Diane, Jacob and Sammie came up for dinner and the last of the gifts.  Sammie decided to spend the night since Lauren is spending the day at their home tomorrow.
It was a wonderful Christmas.
