Enjoying the holiday fun

 Saturday night we went to Kierland Commons for the evening fun.  We went on a horse and carriage ride and played in the snow.  It was a wonderful evening with my girl.

Cheer 2nd Competition

Lauren's second cheer competition was on Saturday.  It did not go that well for the Ice team.   They had a fall and some major bobbles.  They still came in second but it was not their day.  I am sure they will do better next time.

Santa Visit

Lauren went to visit Santa today.  She asked for a dog???  Santa and her got into a long conversation about a dog.  I told Lauren not to be disappointed if that does not happen.  She did ask for a few other gifts also.  It is always fun to go and visit Santa.

First Cheer Competition

Lauren started the cheer season this Saturday.  Her team did so great and came in first place.  Lauren is on a new team this year (much closer to home) and on a higher team.  She has learned her back handspring and did it in the competition today.  I was so proud of her.

zoolights

The Saturday after Thanksgiving Lauren and I joined a few friends and went to zoolights.  It was great night to go.  Not cold and not too many people.  It was a fun night.

School Pictures

I love school pictures.  They are never the best but they are always so fun to look at over the years.  I think Lauren looks just lovely in both of them.  Lauren wanted to do retakes with her new haircut so I let her.  I am  not sure which one I like better.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012

It was a lovely Thanksgiving.  We spent the day at Don and Janine's home.  It was a nice day to spend with family and have wonderful food and conversation.
