School Thanksgiving

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving Lauren's school had the annual family Thanksgiving.  This year they did a cookout instead of the usual turkey meal.  It was a nice change.  Lauren only has this year and next year at Cherokee so this is one of my last ones  It was fun to spend the lunchtime with Lauren and her friends.

Fall Time

The weather finally changed this weekend and we got to wear fall/winter clothes.  It was even a bit cold!  I love seeing my beautiful girl in boots and a dress.  She looked so pretty this morning before church.

Signs of Halloween

Halloween

For Halloween Lauren and I went to one of her friends home for a nice dinner and then we went trick or treating.  After going around their neighborhood we stopped by Janine and Don's neighborhood for a quick visit.  It was another great Halloween and Lauren really scored with the candy!!

Pumpkin Carving Party

Lauren and I had Janine, Blaire and Grant and Brian, Diane, Sammie and Jacob over to crave pumpkins.  We had pizza and some treats and then be started to crave.  Lauren craved her own pumpkins.  The only thing I helped with was opening the pumpkin.  She did the rest by herself.

They all turned out so nice.

Showcase

Desert Storm had their showcase on Oct. 27.  It was the first time got to see all the teams and what they have been working on.  They did a great job.  They are a young team and there was a lot of changes on this team.  I was so proud of how well they did.  The start competitions in about a month.  It should be fun.

Glasses

A few weeks ago Lauren's school called and told me they thought that Lauren might need glasses.  I made an appointment and sure enough Lauren needed glasses.  She only needs to wear them for distance like board work or movies or the like.

Lauren picked out the frames she liked and when they came in she was so excited to get them.  I think she looks just perfect with them or without.
