Lauren has decided that I can no longer be involved in doing her hair or deciding what she wears. Today she choose what she wanted for church and she did her own hair. I had to get a picture. She is my beautiful girl.
We finally had time to celebrate Lauren's birthday with family. Lauren has reached the age where all she wanted was cash or gift cards. It is a bit sad but I guess that is what happens when she turns 10. It is always fun to celebrate with family.
We spent Labor Day over at Janine and Don's home. Brian and Diane joined us and it was a fun day. The kids had fun swimming. There are only a few more weeks of swimming. Jacob loved the water today and Lauren had a great time with him.
One of our projects over Labor Day weekend was to paint Lauren's room. Lauren has wanted to paint her room this color for a long time. Although it is not my favorite she loves it and it is her room. I will post pictures of the finished room soon.
