Monday, after we saw the movie.

Lauren and I celebrated Memorial Day with a swim party at Janine and Don's home on Sunday. On Monday we spent a mommy and me day with a movie and making flubber at home.

It is now summertime. Lauren has a busy summer ahead of her. I have a feeling this summer is going to go by so fast but I can't wait to enjoy all of it with Lauren.

Blaire and Dan both graduated from 8th grade this year. They will both be starting high school next fall. I know both of them will do great in high school and will enjoy all the activities in high school. Dan will be playing basketball and baseball in high school and Blaire already made the cheer squad at her high school.

Good Luck to Blaire and Dan as they begin this new adventure in their lives.

Day 4 - Surprise Disneyland Trip

After 3 days at Disneyland we headed to San Diego to go to the zoo. We got there in the afternoon and spent a few hours walking around enjoying the zoo. However, both Lauren and I were tired and with a long drive in front of us we didn't spend that much time there. We drove home. It was a fun way to start the summer.

Day 3 - Surprise Disneyland Trip

Day 3 was also the start of the Memorial Day weekend so the park was more crowded then the other 2 days. We decided that this was would be a good day to enjoy shows get the rides we wanted to do first thing in the morning. Lauren was excited that she got called on to ask Crush a question and that she got to join a parade dance.

Another exciting thing was the chance to ride the new Ariel ride. The ride opens on June 3 but just as we were walking by they opened it for a special sneak peek. We were one of the first in line. It was very exciting.

We then enjoyed a great princess lunch. We stayed at the park for the night show and the fireworks. We finally dragged our tired bodies home at about midnight.

Day 2 - Disneyland Surprise Trip

On Day 2 Lauren got to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled. That was a long wait and after waiting in that line I decided that going to Goofy's Kitchen and the Princess lunch was well worth the money. We also got to see the new summer parade. It was the first day they were doing the new parade. Lauren went on Soaring about 4 times. I think that is her new favorite ride.

Goofy's dinner was fun and it is always nice to have the characters come to you instead of waiting in line. We stayed at the park until it closed. It was a great day at the park.
